These facilities may be used subject to availability.
An application form must be completed and a certificate of insurance must accompany the application.

PRIOR TO USE YOU MUST REGISTER WITH THE TOWNSHIP AND PROVIDE A CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE IF REQUIRED!

Key requests
You MUST provide a contact name & phone number.
You may pick up the key within 24 hours prior to use and key must be returned within 24 hours after use.


NO ANIMALS allowed in the premises.

You have to leave the building in the same clean and orderly manner as you found it.

Blairstown Recycling Center

PLEASE NOTE:
THE BLAIRSTOWN RECYCLING CENTER IS FOR USE BY BLAIRSTOWN RESIDENTS ONLY. RESIDENTS ARE ASKED TO STRICTLY ADHERE TO RULES AND ITEM DROP-OFF RESTRICTIONS. NO DUMPING.

The Blairstown Recycling Center, located on Lambert Road, is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8am to 1pm.
The following items can be co-mingled (need not be separated):
  • plastic with recycling seal types 1 and 2 only
  • steel cans
  • aluminum cans
  • glass bottles - all colors
The following items are accepted, but MUST BE SEPARATED:
  • newspapers in tied bundles
  • junk mail/magazines tied in bundles
  • bulk steel (no appliances, air conditioners, etc.)
  • used prescription glasses
  • household batteries (no automobile or tractor batteries)

Items NOT ACCEPTED at the Recycling Center include:
  • tires
  • hazardous materials
  • appliances, such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, air conditioners, stoves, microwaves, etc.
  • oil based paint
  • latex paint*
*Latex paint will not be accepted at the Recycling Center. However, residents can obtain paint hardener at the center, which the resident can add to latex paint. When the paint is totally dried out, it can be disposed of with the household trash or brought to the Convenience Center at the Warren County District Landfill in Oxford.
