Blairstown Municipal Office of Emergency Management

Jeffrey Jablon, Coordinator
Robert DePuy, Deputy Coordinator
Dawn Gallant, Administrative Assistant

The Office of Emergency Management provides resources to our emergency service agencies (Police, Fire and Ambulance) when a situation arises that cannot be handled by the agencies themselves. Emergency Management personnel are responsible for coordinating services and resources. During a disaster or in extreme situations, the Coordinator and Mayor would issue a declaration of emergency for Blairstown Township. In this situation, the Office of Emergency Management would become the lead agency.

The Office of Emergency Management contact number is 908-362-6663, ext. 226.
(PLEASE DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER FOR EMERGENCIES.)

FOR EMERGENCIES, DIAL 9-1-1.

ALL RESIDENTS, PLEASE NOTE:
Please make sure you have adequate homeowners' insurance for natural disasters. FEMA is not an insurance company and will only cover a small portion of damage to your home. Please check with your insurance adjuster to make sure you have enough coverage to protect your home and belongings in the event of flooding, hurricanes, and other natural disasters. You can find more information on FEMA's website, www.fema.gov.
