From the Director's Desk…Dear Resident:The purpose of the Blairstown Department of Recreation is to service the recreational needs of our residents during their leisure time. We strive to offer a variety of recreational opportunities for our participants of all ages. Within this brochure, there is a listing of programs and events offered for the Spring-Summer season. Please refer to the chart-Program Information-for the dates, times, and general information. The Program Description will give an explanation of what the program entails. The Registration Information will provide you with our policy and procedure for registering for our programs. It is strongly recommended to register on the first day that registration opens. In addition to our programs and events, we are working on the development of the sites that have been designated for Parks & Recreation. We look forward to the future! REGISTRATION:Please take a moment to read the information of registration. Program registration is accepted in-person-during office hours, mail-in, or by using the drop off box located outside the municipal building. Phone registrations are not accepted; however, some special events require a RSVP by calling the Recreation office. A RSVP is needed because a headcount must be provided to an outside agency. To RSVP contact the Recreation office with family name, number of adults and children attending, and home telephone number. This information is needed in case there is a change or cancellation so registrants can be notified. Click here to download the registration form |
