Blairstown Shade Tree Committee

Meetings are held in the Municipal Building at 106 Route 94. Meetings begin at 7:30pm and are held on the second Monday of each month.

The Blairstown Township Shade Tree Committee consists of five (5) members. Meetings are open to the public and notice of all meetings is given to the public in accordance with the requirements of the "Open Public Meetings Act."

MISSION STATEMENT:

To develop and implement a plan to preserve Blairstown's native tree species.
To encourage developers to protect our tree resources from unnecessary cutting.
To provide educational information to our community in order to increase understanding of Blairstown's tree resources.
To design, plan and implement plantings in township parks, school grounds, wetlands, along water courses, and along township owned properties and right-of-ways.
